Fortify is a RTS castle defense game. Defend your castle from attacking creatures and eventually their leader Trocles. Starting at the Iron age with only a few slingshooters at your disposal you start getting gold from the attackers. But gold won’t be enough! Construct outposts and send miners to gather lumber, stone and iron to advance through the medieval age and to the imperial age. Each age comes with new ways to defend your castle; oil pits, catapults, cannons, defensive spikes and new units, both ranged and melee with unique abilities.

Since release Fortify has become my “hallmark” game. It was featured after 6 months on the YoYoGames website boosting the number of downloads from 300 to 600 in one afternoon, and now has over 8000 downloads from YoYo. Later fortify has even been in some mainstream media, like a czech newspaper. They wrote a very nice review of it, (I’ve used google translate to translate from czech). Czech review
